Narrogin Busy Bee and Night Ride 2018

And now as Sunday comes to a close it is with great pleasure I can happily say the first event of the year was a success. To: Ron and Michelle Jones, Paul and Pamela Jones, Gary Johnson, Phil Brown, Mike Smith, Louise Ridgway, Hugh McCann, Mark Deacon-Evans, Andrew Irving, Frank Barron, Steven Hanson, David Latham and any one else that turned up to the track early for the Busy Bee THANK YOU, trees were pruned, grass cleared, kitchen and toilets were cleaned and lots of maintenance was done and as always many hands make light work of any job.
The BBQ was fantastic with plenty of food, and a chance for everyone to catch up, this was then followed by the intrepid dozen having the opportunity to experience a shortened track under lights.
Thanks also go out to all those that attended as officials as no meeting ever takes place without them.
Thanks again also to those that helped clean up and put everything away this morning and another chance for one final ride for those that still had a bit of fuel left.

Honda XL 250’s for Resto

Over the years I have unintentionally collected a few Honda XL250’s in various states of undress.

A 1972 sl250 that has been designed for motocross, stripped of all wiring and the engine rebuilt with wiseco piston.

A 1973 xl250 that is almost complete with the exception of the tank and tins, started and road when I bought it half a dozen years ago and would again with new fluids and a carby clean.

A 1972 xl250 which is in pieces and missing the engine though I probably stored it somewhere and may find it, frame complete with wiring harness, complete wheels, tins, tank, bars etc.
