The Vintage Motocross Club of Western Australia

The tireless Mr Maxfield has sent in some information on the organisation for getting to this year's National Champs. 

The Tasmanian Scramble Club is hosting this year's title on the 6th to the 9th of June at Carrick near Launceston, Tasmania.  Enquiries have been made to U-Move Australia who can supply containers to freight our solos and sidecars to the venue and return to Perth.  The expected cost for a 20 foot container is $6,000. Which works out to be $300 each for 20 solos.  The cost for sidecars will depend on how many will fit on a mezzanine floor built above the solos.

Information is fairly limited at present regarding proposed classes, but we believe that it will be run similar to the Coff's Harbour Nats in 2007, plus sidecars.  Once we have enough bookings to fill one or more containers, payment will have to be made in full by the end of March.  In the event that the Nats are cancelled, provided that the container(s) have not been booked, a full refund will be made.  Solos (not sidecars) will have to be crated in a standard sized motorcycle crate, which are readily available from most motorcycle dealers.
