Boddington 2017 Race Report

Hi everybody,

Just letting you all know what a great time was had on Sunday at the Boddington Club Run. I would like to thank those who came down on Saturday and helped set up the track and special thanks to Steve Hanson for bringing a trailered portable loo to the track.  Much appreciated! Saturday night was freezing literally 0

Saturday night was freezing, literally 0 degrees.  Fog Sunday morning before becoming a sunny day, the rain during the week put enough moisture in the ground so it was a dust free race day. The track was a bit bumpy but I didn’t hear any complaints. Ralph Miller and Jason Clayden were having a good scrap in group 1 with Ralph coming out on top. Group 2 had Kevin Clayden showing all the

Group 2 had Kevin Clayden showing all the whippersnappers how to ride with Paul Gibbs keeping him honest. The over 55 had a good turnout with some of our elder gentlemen Bill Watson. Stan Read and Ron Tyres showing they can still mix it with the youngsters. 1 sidecar had Cliff Cook trying a terrified passenger who just happens to be his daughter’s boyfriend,  I did hear Cliff say that she will have to get a new boyfriend with sidecar skills. The last race of the day the butcher’s picnic was won by new member Jason Ferguson much to the disappointment of his son Nick who has yet to win a race. Once again thanks to those who helped (

Once again thanks to those who helped (flaggies. officials and the landowners the Fosters ) a great day was had by all.
