Race Report – Paynes Find 20-6-21

Paynes Find on Sunday was fantastic.. Saturday arvo on arrival was looking grim..dry and dusty .. but blind faith in the BOM had us all believing the rain would come.. A casual chat around the budgie with entertainment from Trevor Lobegeiger left us in need of sleep..rain started around 1 a.m.

Sunday morning greeted with a well watered track and prime conditions..those that stayed at home because of the rain..surely missed out.. thanks go to Michael Gordon who doubled up as Race Sec and “Starter”..still unable to ride, do the dishes, mow the lawn, do the ironing..

Great to see Gary Johnson back on a bike, putting a smile on his face..also good to see Peter McDonald back for a skid also..The Jones boys have obviously put their job keeper payments to good use..new caravans.. next event July 11 is again at Paynes Find..feature is 125cc and British bikes..if you have a BSA Bantam..you’ll win..haha..let’s hope for more conditions like Sunday..
