Your Motocross Highlights My first ride on a motocross sidecar (The Melvin’s Norton.  I knew I had to have one before I had even made it around the first corner!)
As a kid getting up early in the morning to head of to the motocross with dad.  In particular going to watch the Manjimup 15,000 each year.
Competing in the Aussie titles with my wife Claire in the chair.
Most memorable (funny or painful) Motocross accident Had a pretty decent high side whilst blasting across a mud flat on my Trail bike.  Got plenty of odd looks riding it home as my bike was bent and the right side of my shirt and pants was rapidly turning red from a slight case of extreme blood loss.  As always the first sound I heard after the fall is the sound of my dad wetting himself laughing!
Your Motocross Hero (past or present) Jeff Leisk (It takes a real man to race in pink!) and Emil Bollhalder.
Family Motocross History My Granddad played with all sorts of bikes.  Dad raced Speedway professionally in the UK and was a State Trials Champion.  He’s not bad with a spanner either.  I also managed to con my wife Claire into swinging in the chair for me and she has since taken to riding a solo as well.
What are your favourite hobbies/interests outside of motocross Basketball, Speedway, Science-y stuff and of course my endlessly patient and understanding wife.
What made you join VMXWA My desire to get a motocross sidecar and the awesome people and atmosphere of the club.
