The 2024 AGM is being held on Sunday the 1/12/24 starting at 1015 at Hi Voltage Entertainment 4 Hubert Street, Belmont, upstairs in their function room. All committee positions will be declared vacant and the committee for 2025 will be elected. So far there has been no nominations for committee positions, if anyone is interested in being on the committee for 2025 and shaping the direction of your club please reach out to the current committee or myself, otherwise nominations will be taken on the day. Lew has announced he will be retiring from President this year and will not be standing for 2025 so please give some thought into who you would like to see as President and encourage them to nominate. All positions need to be filled in order for the club to function properly throughout the year.
At the conclusion of the AGM we will have the trophy presentations for all of the clubs perpetual awards and other trophies recognising the achievements of individuals throughout the year. As has been tradition in past years, awards and recognition aren’t typically given to those not in attendance at the presentation day, so be sure to keep the day clear and come and join in the day, who knows you may walk away with an award for the year.
After the AGM and presentations we will have 2 rounds of go-karts each followed by finger food. Cost to participate in the go-karts is $40each which has been subsidised by the club. Please RSVP to info.vmxwa@gmail.com and pay before Sunday the 24th November so we can advise the venue of confirmed numbers. Payment can be made directly to the club account BSB 036-069 Account 24-3603, please advise once you have made payment.
For those not wishing to participate in the go-karts please still RSVP before Sunday the 24th November so we can ensure we have enough food catered for the day, there is no pressure to participate in the go-karts and we still encourage you to attend for the day. It is expected the days festivities will conclude around 2pm.
