WANDERING “PAYNES FIND” 5TH MAY 2024 – RECREATION DAY

WANDERING “PAYNES FIND” 5TH MAY 2024 – RECREATION DAY

Due to the dry conditions that are being experienced at Wandering at the moment and the insufficient supply of water in the dam the difficult decision was made at the April General Meeting to change the scheduled race day on the 5/5/24 to a recreation day. The replacement race day will be held on the 27th October 2024 which will now be Round 3 of the VMXWA World Championships.

There will be a busy bee on Saturday the 4th May to continue to get a few jobs done around the track and on the track vehicles if everyone could please assist.

The club will provide bacon and egg rolls for everyone in the morning so be sure to come down for breakfast when you sign on.

Schedule for Sunday 5th May is as follows
-Sign on 0800-0845
-Riders briefing 0900
-On track after briefing

Cost to ride is $30 and one event recreational licences will be available on the day for $45. One event licences are available on ridernet (www.ridernet.com.au) leading up to the event at a cost of $33. For those that need assistance with purchasing one event licences on ridernet a guide is on the website https://www.vmxwa.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Applying-for-one-event-licence.pdf however please feel free to contact Robert and he’ll walk you through the process, one event licences are cheaper purchased online through ridernet. This event is a recreation day so select Recreation licence and then one event recreational.

Please make sure you bring the correct cash with you for the weekend as there are no eftpos facilities.

All the usual pre ’75 classes will be available plus a pre ’85 feature class.

A lot of effort went in the track at the last busy bee so apart from some dust it will still be an enjoyable day out for everyone. We look forward to seeing everyone there.
